The UTV INC Ford F-150 SVT Raptor Heavy Duty Billet Steering Rods are a 100% bolt on, direct OEM replacement for both the GEN1 and GEN2 models. Our tie rods started out as solid hex aluminum bar that we taper machine to a round bar for strength and aesthetics. The steering rods are hard anodized black for durability in the elements and provide a custom look to your truck. Our spindle taper pins are what sets us apart, as there is NO DRILLING REQUIRED. These are 100% bolt for both GEN1 and GEN2 trucks. The tapered pin is CNC machined from 17-4 stainless steel for ultra-durability and gives you extra piece of mind when out on the trail. The heavy-duty clevis and misalignment spacers are also machined in house out of stainless steel for durability. The rods are mated with only the best in the industry FK rod ends for the rack and spindle side of the assembly. Steering rack side utilizes FK 3-piece steel, zinc coated Teflon self-lubricating lined rod ends, and the spindle side uses FK 3-piece alloy PTFE self-lubricating lined rod ends. 100% made in America.

Do these tie rods seal properly with the factory steering gear bellows?

One of the major problems with aftermarket tie rod ends is that they don't match the OE diameter or design, which causes moisture build up within the rack and leads to failure of the unit. Which isn't warrantable and is quite expensive to replace.

These are a direct OEM replacement item and the steering rod is taper machined to round where the OEM boot / bellow will still attach without any issue, its a little tight, but we have installed them with the stock boots. We have a few trucks with this kit installed with the stock boots and have seen no issues after many thousands of miles!
