I ordered the BD kit earlier in the week. I really like the six BD front lights so it was a no brainer for me.

I used the Rigid Flush Mounts and hooked them up to come on when in reverse and also hooked them up to one of the oem uplift switches. I get all the light I need.

I like this setup!

I want to do something like this with the Baja Designs S2 Flush mounts. I dont think there is enough real estate on the G2 bumper. I made a template per the BD specs to kind of test fit things. Truck arrives soon so we'll see.

Baja designs kit is legit... I was skeptical at first but after receiving them the quality is above my expectations. Plug and play, easy wiring, looks clean, and BRIGHT. Install took me 30 minutes.

Do they also tag into a auxiliary switch with the wiring it comes with so you can switch them on or is reverse only?

It's reverse only. Comes pre wired with a splice on it. You can cut it out and make a lead wire if you want. I personally didn't want to run a wire to the front of the truck.

Appreciate it. I've got 4 SII's I plan on using for backup lights and was wondering if it was worth it to buy their wiring kit or just run my own wiring. Sounds like I'll run my own!

Curious how you ran this to activate w/ AUX switch *or* in Reverse gear?

To put on a switch you make a lead wire from the back of the lights and run it to the engine bay and connect to the switch wire of your choice on the left side. Don't forget to ground it.

To put on reverse you run the wire behind the driver taillight and use a splice connector and splice right into the reverse wire.

Can it be wired to do both? Meaning come on via reverse and via aux switch.
