Guy from Texas...said he races a series down there and fabbed most the truck himself. LS9 powered :( ...but it does hve 30" of travel in the back and 22" up front. I paced him across the big dunes but when we started runnin through the hairy stuff I had to slow it down...still fun though!

Last time I was there I ran my truck through the whoops so much I have a slight bend in the frame. You can only see it in the mirrors looking back. Still worth it though. To pass a RZRs through the whoops going 40+ is AWESOME!!!

I used to go LS when I was in college in Norman. We would take the Jeeps and the dirt bikes, was always a really good time.

I would be up for a trip up there in January as well so start a new thread when a date is set so we can all stay up to date. I am planning a trip to Big Bend that month so I hope to be able to schedule this so I can attend both.

Thanks kind of upsetting that he went with that engine, but it's still a pretty badass truck and 22"/30" for travel is no joke, I'd love to build me a truck like that.
