Some of you saw my post a few weeks back about looking at a very nice and high priced Gen 1. I did NOT follow through with that. But ended up finding a 1 owner, 44k mile 2018 in Austin and worked out a deal trading my Silverado 2500.
They delivered the truck yesterday and was finally able to drive it and see it in person. I was surprised to find the Cobb tuner when I opened the drivers door. Then pop the hood and find the Cobb CAI, coolant guard, and finally the relocated Cobb intercooler!
Aside from the surprise mods, the truck was much cleaner than I expected. I don't think it has even been down a dirt road. The truck also has Icon Alloys and Rigid fogs.
I'd love to find the OG owner and learn any more about it I could!
Lastly, with the performance mods already done, what should I look for, if anything, as far as wear and tear?

This is my second Raptor, and it feels like I'm home again, this thing is so fun to drive!

Welcome BACK aboard! Good to hear your in one again. That’s a slew of nice mods. Any service records? Many times service is reported to Carfax. If the motor sounds good and runs strong, I’d just enjoy it. You can also check to see if any suspension work was done, springs, collars etc.

Have fun

she looks good. check for the plastic oil pan, ’18 models had a mix of plastic / metal pans. if it’s not leaking, don’t screw with it. Ever. Check on that cam phaser TSB and see if that’s been addressed. If the truck hasn’t had phaser work done, get the reprogram and extended phaser warranty with it. Drive and enjoy.

Thanks everyone. No signs of oil drip or leak. It had the #21N08 engine shudder done this month, just before trading I guess. And had #21B10 cam phaser done last March. I may take it to the dealer this week and have it looked over on my own too. Very happy with it so far! Sooo fun to drive.

Tires are from the OG from factory and will need to be replaced soon. I'll probably throw a perch collar on it soon to level it then move to 37's when I get new tires. Expect I'll get some rubbing due to the offset of these Icon alloys.
