How's it going guys,

First off my name is Jay.

I'm from Perth in Western Australia.
I'm a Driver/Operator on a remote mine site in WA.

I've been into cars since I was young, mainly classic yank tanks like 57 Chevs, but I love 1930's Hot Rods, 60's lowriders etc. I've been on many forums and am currently rebuilding a 1961 EK Holden which is pretty much the Australian copy of a 57 Chev (pictured below), getting rid of a lot of rust and getting rid of the ugly green.

As far as I know there is only 1 Raptor in Perth, I was sitting at traffic lights one day when I saw this big orange beast roar past me. Caught the Raptor badge on the tailgate and had to go and research.

Turns out to get one in Australia it will cost $140,000 with a full RHD conversion soooo might be a while till I get to join the Raptor Crew, but I'll be in the US in 2015 so might buy one while I'm over there and bring it back which will hopefully cut down the costs

Anyway that's my story for now,
Gonna go start the Barbie and put some Prawns (shrimp) on it.... mate

Welcome! Even if you can't get your hands on a Raptor for awhile, you'll have people who can relate to you here between the guys who are saving up for them and the guys who are waiting patiently (ok not really patiently) on their orders to come in.

Didn't know they sent Commonwhore's over there! Thought it was just the GTO's.
They look a bit better the the Pontiac front on them.
