Turns out BOTH relay switches for the bumper lights and satellites were ******, water corrosion. Bypassed them both and just wired them to the pass thru wires and to ground, problem solved. Assuming I don't light anything on fire or blow fuses, this is a satisfactory method I hope

The aux switches themselves are already a relay with a fuse and most just wire direct anyways. The only reason why you might need an additional relay is if you are putting a larger load than one of the aux switches.

I have a 40" and 30" on Aux 2. I can't remember but believe the load was close to 30. I didn't like being that close so I put a relay on the 30". So Aux 2 powers the 40" and just the relay for the 30". There is another inline fuse for the 30".

If your load is below, you will be fine what you did.

the common mistake people make when installing after market lights is they use the relay that the light manufacture gave you. Ford though ahead and gave us those realy built in. So the best thing to do is get rid of the relay with the lights ( Exception below) and just wire to the upfitter switch leads. This takes out a hafull of failure point. the exception to using the aftermarket relay is if the new light our item your powering is larger than the Ford Aux Relays, ( 1=30a, 2=30A,3=15A, 4=10A) then you want to use the aftermarket relay.

Yeah that's what I figured. I wish I'd thought about all that before I wired that crap in. But it's all fixed now with heatshrink butt connectors. I don't like having stuff wired to my battery anyways.

Thanks for the help everyone, and looks like everything is in good shape now.
