Tonight as I was pulling into my apartment, my A-Pillar satellites were on as well as my bumper lights (Aux switches 4 and 1 respectively), and when I had my foot on the brake and put my truck in reverse, both the satellites and bumper lights went out. The little orange lights on the aux switches were still on (I have no idea if that means anything), but no lights. I checked my light bar on Aux switch 2, and it worked as it should. Only 1 and 4 which I had on at the time stopped working.

Of course first thing I did was check the fuses, and they were fine...

What's my next step?

I'll check first thing tomorrow, as I just got home from seeing Star Wars and all I want to do is drink beer and watch the ball drop. Thanks guys.

Bump bump no ideas? I might just take it to the dealer then. Maybe I'll get lucky and it'll fall under warranty

So does 1 and 4 not work at all now or only stops working when you step on the brake and putting into reverse?

Not at all anymore. It was just as that exact moment when I lost both my switches

I'm thinking since the switches are still lit up when you turn them on that it will be a bad ground somewhere. Unless you had the dealer install your lights, I doubt this will be covered under warranty.

Take a meter to the upfitter wire under the hood for each with the ground to the battery. If nothing then check by the glovebox and see if you get anything. If you get nothing then take it to the dealer.

And I know you said you checked the fuses. did you use a meter or just visual? If just visual try swapping with a new fuse to verify or put a meter on it

Well the dealer installed my bumper/lights on aux switch 1, but it was a dealer in Maine and I live in Florida now. I didn't hold out much hope for the warranty anyways.
@SilentShooter all I did was a visual check. I'll throw a meter on it tomorrow to confirm. I just thought it was super weird they both went out as soon as I had my foot on the brake and put the truck in reverse, almost like a power surge of some kind. And both my operating aux switches go simultaneously? Just a strange situation. But if I can't find anything obvious with the meter I'll take it in.

Thanks guys

Well the switch light works so I could guess the problem is somewhere under the hood. I'll throw a meter on a few spots and see if I can narrow it down.
