Yeah...something so simple should be at a minimum an option...one of the best Mod's along with the Hydraulic cylinder to slow the opening of the tailgate.

Thanks Icecobra for your input.
This thread is for the Pop and Lock that does not need a relay or separate switch to make the actuator work.
I understand now how you were able to use the drivers side wires, your switch is a relay which is the only way to use those sets of wires on the drivers side.
Pop and Lock sent me a relay pack to try to do the same thing but after a member confirmed the correct wires in the passenger side, there isn't any need for a relay pack for the Pop and Lock.

The wires in the drivers side are after the BCM and wires on the passenger side are before the BCM

No mine Is not a relay, its a 12 volt magnetic cylinder lock just like pop a lock. There are 2 wires 12 volt one way to the wires and the lock shifts, reverse the wires and the lock shifts to the opposite point... Pretty simple and this should be exactly what you need...

The wires on the passenger side work just fine, all you use is the color code I have posted in the first post.

I must have misunderstood what you said on your thread, I thought I read your using a manual switch that you hooked up as well.

Do you have the Ford Factory Alarm (Audiovox) with remote start?

You also said you setup your remote to use one button to lock and unlock? Is that correct?

Yes MTF I have the factory alarm remote start, in the driver screen I changed it to one button lock and one button unlock I hate having to fumble with the remote with arms full to try to get the tailgate unlocked so tied to driver side... I gave away (May get together) about a half dozen or so lock assembly units that work pretty well mines been going for over a year now...

OK, sorry but two more question if you don't mind.

Yours is a Super Crew or Super Cab?
And did you tie in at the rear of the cab or up front by the kick panel on the driver's side?
