When I did mine there are a number of wires with the same color. I used a CT to measure current through the wires to identify the correct pair. This way I did not have to pierce each one with a meter to confirm. Not everyone will have a tool like this though. I am just saying you will want to confirm before going to the trouble of splicing into a pair.
This mod is fricken awesome . No more wondering if I locked the tail gate.

All the correct wire codes are in the first post.

No the kick panel is the front panel under the dash.

The wires for the SuperCrew are in the front passenger door sill,
from other members who have installed the Pop and Lock say this is the best place to connect the wires.
Either set of wires for one press or second press.
There are a pair of the same colored wires in the SuperCrew so by trial and error you need to find the correct pair.

That's what I thought and I've been working under the front passenger sill according to pictures but I was worried because I saw a lot of references to kick panel.

So it appears there are three grey with brown stripe. Also the violet with grey is in two different gauge sizes. Id assume i want the one that is same size as the grey w brown. There are two of that violet w grey because its split after coming out of a little black heat/shrink wrapped device. Anyone know if that is the correct violet w grey?

Never mind on my last two questions. I figured it out.

I am either lucky or you can just pick any one of the same color wires.

The 3 grey with brown stripe wires you saw are all spliced together (like your violet wires, the black heat shrink covers the splice), so picking any wire yields the same result. On my truck (crew), it was a few inches back from the front passenger kick panel.

Finally got around to installing this on my 2012 SCrew.. After everyones help in this thread it only took 30 minutes to install.. Violet with grey stripe and grey with brown stripe in passenger door sill works great. Only a couple of things..
1) using a fish tape fed through the frame makes pulling the harness install easy.
2) using an amp clamp meter to verify wires before cutting the insulation/splicing.
3) included wire taps are junk (throw them away)

Awsome mod, peace of mind knowing tailgate is always locked when doors are locked..

Fantastic!!!

One thing though, I would not recommend to cut the truck wires but carefully trim away the insulation and then just splice around the bare truck wires.
Unless your going to solder the wires together.

Just my opinion.
