Austrian Ranger Raptor...

I travel for my job quite frequently and always enjoy seeing the Ranger Raptor on the streets. Most often in the UK. Funny thing about the UK trucks, I ALWAYS see them with company logos in vinyl on the side. I don't know why, but I assume it has something to do with taxation and being able to afford to operate that type of truck in the region. I will have to ask my people over there is see if they can provide an explanation.

Anyway, my wife and I were checking in to our lodge in Austria yesterday outside of Salzburg in St. Johann im Pongau and I saw this little gem. Thought you fans here would like a share.

I will go back through some of my pictures and see if I can find some of the UK Ranger Raptors I have shot this year.

Coincidentally, we we heading out to catch some afternoon photos of the tow architecture and while we were driving out of rhe parking garage, he was leaving in front of us.

Then we drove to the other side of town and ran across this in parked in front of a home... I have to say I am a little surprised to see two the same day here.

I think the new Gen3 RR looks much more like a miniature F150 Raptor. I am hoping this is very close to what will be released in the states. I haven't been following but maybe you guys that have know more.

Here is one thing I noticed on the new RR that may be the first time I have seen one in a factory release??? Gusseted rear end! What is up with that? Why doesn't our Gen 3 F150 use a gusseted rear end? Did I miss something?

I am tracking all of that. What I am saying is the axle tubes themselves are gusseted and pretty substantially.
