Yeah, they're "Chinese knockoffs" - actually, Aurora has ripped off Rigid Industries and they've had to engage with their lawyers and spend a pile of money on a lawsuit with a Chinese company because Aurora has simply copied Rigid's designs and are selling them at Chinese prices.
Is your buddy the guy selling on the Wrangler forum without paying to be a vendor on that forum? Are you trying to sell for him here?
I'm going to watch guys with $60,000 trucks do scientific err internet comparisons of the products while bragging about how much money they saved helping Chinese companies kill American companies and US workers' jobs.
So Dan, let me run something by you. Go pull off one of your wheels or drop the spare. Take a look at the back side of the wheel and tell me what you see stamped there. Let me save you the trouble:
MADE IN CHINA
I can list half a dozen places where I have seen that on my American truck. Many more parts are assembled from parts made in China. So tell me again how my $60,000 truck is made in America?
I think we all get how important buying US products is to you. I am curious though how much you buy foreign products for your home. Do you own a Toyota or Nissan vehicle? How about a Samsung TV? Apple computer? iPad or iPhone? I bet half of the clothes you own were made in Pakistan. In my experience, when someone comes off all high and mighty about buying US made they are secretly doing just the opposite everywhere else in their lives.
Not trying to start an argument and I would rather you not reply. Just think about the questions I ask and see if they apply.
