I want to say Silver Legacy has a lot around one of their corners, covered, for "large trucks. Plus, we should still be able to park in any of the lots, like Circus Circus, and walk to Silver Legacy. Not sure though, it's been awhile since i've been down town there.

One more thing regarding the trip. Since it looks like most of us are staying the night, we'll have overnight bags. Pack lightly for we won't be able to drop our bags off until after we are wheeling all day. So pack light and strap it down.

Also, bring a lunch/small cooler with water and food for the lunch break. There is a Wendy's and a DQ, along with some other little ma/pop shops just before we get to the rest area for lunch, but packing a lunch might be easier. Again, make sure you strap it in nice and snug.

Just snagged this off the Silver Legacy page... a little VIP valet service sounds good to me!

Silver Legacy parking is convenient and free in our 11-story self-parking garage. Complimentary valet service is also available. In addition, Silver Legacy's valet can accommodate oversized vehicles such as RVs and boats at an off property location.

I could only imagine the looks on the valet's faces as a line of Raptors pull up waiting to be parked!!

LOL...that would be hilarious. I'm sure i we call ahead and let them know how many Raptors will be there they could make room.

Regarding trail gear, have some basic tools, maybe a tow strap, spare tire or two but just as Nv Guy stated, we shouldn’t need much and this will be a great time to start figuring out what gear you’ll need for future runs. One of the pieces of gear I am going to be looking to install before the weekend is a single Rigid amber D2 facing rear. After running with Nv Guy and eating his dust, you quickly lose sight of the Raptor in front of you. And after running around in the dust yesterday with my front facing LEDs on, Nv Guy and his wife said they couldn't miss me, that they just pierced through the dust. So I'm going to add the extra safety of the rear facing amber. Plus I think it looks cool, gets me closer to the Baja truck roots. :)

Where are you mounting the rear facing D2? I seen a picture on here awhile back, but I can't find it now. The truck had 2 amber D2s embeded in the rear bumper. It looked pretty good. I am hoping to at least have my front ones but the 4th.

Not sure where i am mounting it yet. I want it up above the bed for better line of sight. And I know the set-up you are talking about:

That's a clean set-up, i would love to have it. But for more visibility in the dust i think mounting them higher would be better.

Like how RApptor Addicts chase rack has them.
