Have a 2014 crew cab SE on the way & getting everything in line for when it finally gets here. Going to redo pretty much all the sound system except the head unit - going with Focal & JL Audio for the speakers, sub, amp, & processor. Also going to have sound deadening material installed at the time.

Question is about the deadening - should I have the entire cab done or just the doors? Shop that I'm talking to (& has done a couple of trucks for me previously a few years ago) mentioned just doing the doors to start. How much more benefit would there be to doing the floor pan, back, & maybe roof? I will be swapping for Toyo MT's & more than likely exhaust if that makes a difference. Would like to hit it all in one shot instead of going back if possible. Also what sound deadening is recommend? They use Hush Mat which I'm not familiar with. Figure I can push towards another product if it is worth it.

Thanks

we carry focal bam in our shop. i think it works much better than anything else. do the entire cab and both layers of metal in the doors.

Yeah after thinking about it some more it seems silly not to just go ahead and do the whole truck from the get go. I'll take a look at the Focal Bam - do you sell it standalone or just when doing installs?

Thanks

it usually gets bundled in with the systems i ship out. if you are getting focal from your local shop, have them check to see if they can get some.
