Picked up a 2024 801A. Love this truck, but the audio has cut out intermittently since day one. Seems to be caused by bumps/vibrations, but not every time or reliably repeatable. Audio comes back on a few seconds later every time.

I've already popped open the fuse box and ensured all the fuses were seated. Note: NONE of the fuses were fully seated (~.125") so might be worth a look for everyone else too.

Looking for any suggestions that might keep me out of the service department. Other connections that I might be able to access and check, anything. Would like to avoid the tech at the dealership pulling my new truck apart if possible... All contributions are appreciated.

Thanks for reading.

When the sound cuts out, does your volume knob work? Also, does it say "Audio Off" and force you to select a source to play sound?

Thank you for the reply. I do not know about the volume knob. I will give that a try next time it happens and see. It does say "Audio Off" but the sound (Pandora usually) comes back on by itself most of the time. I'll add that when it happens when I am on the phone, once audio comes back on my phone will not re-connect through the trucks speakers/mic.

Interesting, the Audio Off is usually a loose or bad A2B cable. In early 2021 trucks, a lot of them had bad A2B cables that would display Audio Off and would eventually never come out of that mode.

Could be one of these:
- Bad A2B Cable
- Loose A2B cable
- Bad ACM
- Bad Amplifier

Apologies for the late reply. I appreciate you giving me a direction to poke in. Worst case, I guess it's got a warranty... I would just prefer to fix it myself if possible. Incidentally I did get a chance to see if the volume knob did anything while this is happening. Answer is, nothing. Like the radio was off. I'll report back any findings. :favorites13:

Got it, so it's either ACM, A2B Cable or Amplifier itself. We have never seen a bad amplifier, but seen several bad A2B cables plus a few bad ACMs... I would use the warranty, it's not something that is easy to troubleshoot with extras of all of the above :)

Have this same problem. What is required to replace a2B cable? Remove seats or is there an easier way?
