I'm sorry but digging a little deeper reveals you want money for a Raptor, now any car, now to help get you back on your feet, then for a wish list, now for a down payment for a raptor. On November 5th of last year you asked for help buying an Xbox 360.

If you were someone we knew and needed a little help because something happened then I'm sure we would consider it but as stated before, most of us bust our asses to be able to own a Raptor and even then some of us probably shouldn't have one.

I understand having dreams, I always shoot for the best of something. I thought I was gonna buy a GTR when I joined the military. I learned quickly that those are dreams and I'm in reality.

I see you're trying to seek employment and have been for some time. $12k is barely a start to these trucks. Monthly payment around $800-900 a month with good credit, insurance for me is about $190, then I spend about $300-400 a month in gas.

Sorry to have to bust your bubble but you need to start at the level you're currently at and work up to those dreams. When that time comes, the raptor may not be around, but I'm sure something else will be that's as cool or better.

Not the type of dream that a lot of others will get motivated about enough to contribute. I was 18 and dreamed of a Porsche. (Don't laugh, it was the 80s). It took 28 years to realize the dream. I could not imagine asking for help realizing this. Instead I would reiterate what others have articulated...

Work hard, do the right things, work hard some more, keep doing the right things and eventually you can realize just about any dream you may have. As corny as it is, you will appreciate something more if you earn it.

It's one thing to have dreams, dreams are good, they motivate you. But you want charity, boo hoo, poor me. Talk about F***ing B*** SH**. That's the way I see it. Got to admit you have balls to pull a stunt like this, because thats what it is! You'll get no sympathy from me!

Not trying to be a ****, but I agree with RaptorSV. Most time when you give a bum money he goes and drinks it away, after all there is usually a reason they are on the street instead of in a shelter, etc.. If you give to a bum, you give him food. Not that I'm calling you a bum, but asking for help with a want is pretty darn ******. If you really want help, then maybe ask if anyone in your area knows of any work opportunities? but no, why would you work for something you want when its so fricken easy to beg for it. Even if someone gave you money, you'd probably just use it to buy video games. You're 27 for Christ sakes... "trying to finish school, etc" Get off your lazy ass and put in the work Skippy! No sympathy from me and I will be very surprised if anyone gives you money. Your friends are right, you are too lazy to ever have a Raptor.:nutkick:

I don't think he needs sympathy, he needs guidance. From what I've seen on his Facebook I can tell you it doesn't seem like anyone else is offering that guidance. I also don't know the whole situation to cast judgement but maybe you should listen to what people are telling you. Stop asking and start doing. If friends and family are trying to help it's probably because they know from experience.

When you don't listen to the advice people give you and continue with bad habits then those people close to you will start showing hatred towards your situation. They stop offering advice and become harsh. That should be your sign that something is wrong.

Any one wanna donate money to me so I can get a set of fox 3.0's??? Please! I'm in the army and they don't pay me enough!

Yea no sympathy here man you just lost all respect from pretty much the whole forum here. It took me 3 deployments to save for my raptor. Putting my life on the line every day for a truck but I worked hard for it you should work hard for your "dream" as well. I'm surprised the admins haven't deleted this thread yet!

Hi! To all fordraptorforum.com members. I have a dream, yes i know it is a big dream. Things are not going well for me at all. I guess what I'm trying to say and or ask is for a little help towards my dream. I'm trying to finish school, work on certifications, and help my parents out since, because my father had a resent heart attack, and my mother being sick, and having to help my father take care of her. Its been a difficult time for the past 5 years. I just want something that makes me happy and would raise my self es-team up. I'm not sure what else to say but to ask for some help. In the link below is a site that will explain a little more.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

You'll get there man....take the advice being handed to you here. If offering computer services is what you want to do to buy your Raptor, then start a business. I may only be 25 but I've gone to college for 5 years, I have my B.S. in MIS and started my own Web Design and Internet Marketing over 1.5 years ago....I too have been crazy about the Raptor since seeing the Orange one was released.

It will take you time but it will happen, don't get discourage when life throws you a curveball.

Why don't you ask people to show you how to make money rather than beg for it? You have a ton of business knowledge on this site. I'm sure there are more than a few guys that would show you the in's and out's to give you a skill set that would enable you to make your own money. That's the American way...or it used to be. It's so sad that begging strangers for money for something like a Raptor is accepted by today's youth.
