nah, still got GPS on my phone that works just fine. i decided to try and get it when i heard there was a shortage, but sold orders would still get pulled. ya know help the resale value.

With Fords latest update yesterday, I would say Nav is a no go. But your Region could still a few allowcations with Nav left. Because your order was prior to the 4/26 cut off, it might sneek through.
BUT if it's a Tux Black with Nav order, I would say your order will not get built as a 2011.

Just got a message from my dealer...
"Your truck got scheduled yesterday to be built, however the factory is not producing the Raptor series with the Sony Navigation system. The truck will be built as scheduled and you will have the option to take the truck as equipped or you can say no to the truck and we will refund your deposit. Give it some thought and let me know what you want to do."
Can navigation be installed later if I order one without it? Anyone have a white Screw w/ navigation for sale?

I ordered my truck in April and still have not received a VIN. My dealer called today to notify me that the nav is not available for my order. I was informed that an aftermarket one could be installed and that it may be cheaper. The cost is not the issue for me. I want the system to have a stock look. I don't want to have something that looks like it was installed later. I will have to contact the dealer to see what my options are and to see how they can accomodate me. Does anyone have any photos of an aftermarket nav install? I ordered a Raptor with the orange dash trim and I am thinking that an aftermarket nav system would have to be the exact same size in order to retain the stock look with no triming or special insert required. Nothing has been said regarding the molten orange yet. The only thing that could be positive out of a long wait is that I won't get a truck that clunks.

My main concern is a factory look as well. I asked JD (jdowens1), who is a Ford senior master tech, about installing nav after delivery...
"You will be able to switch the f-150 to nav if you want. the connectors have been standard between all radios since around 04 or so. Also they are all made by pioneer. The problem you will have with the f-150 is the radio bezel will need to be changed, the nav unit, HVAC control head for heater and AC buttons are different from nav to non nav units.
The cost to change it over is going to be quite a bit more money with everything else along with it. The standard 6 disc changer for the f-150 will do navigation you just don't have the screen with the visable map. You can download directions off the internet and it will work through sync for turn by turn directions. Hope this helps."
I'm not sure how that translates to the orange interior. I guess it may depend on if Ford makes the orange nav units available again or not.
well i got the call today, no NAV..... i didnt get pulled, but they got an email saying no Raptors with NAV no chance..... kinda pissed also cuz he found one when i first called on a lot somewhere that had NAV when i said no to the NAV. he checked again and found one, but didnt sound optomistic on being able to get it, and said i probably wouldnt be able to get the same ammount off sticker then i did before.... just when i was thinking i had a real good dealer.... bastards..... if i dont get pulled this weekend i may be PM'ing Randy.... prolly shoulda done that in the first place.....
