Awesome! I SO live in the wrong state.

I love my Texas but Arizona is an awesome place..especially if you love the outdoors. It's almost like everyone in that state owns a bicycle, hiking shoes, guns, and a 4WD emoticoncoolgleam.gif

What a mother****ing joke.

Guns are allowed, but you can only discharge them if you are hunting. And if you are hunting, you need a ****ing permit.

WTF, we will be out in the middle of ****ing nowhere.

Firearms
The discharge of firearms is allowed only while legally hunting. Target shooting or “plinking” is prohibited. All firearms transported within the preserve must be unloaded, cased, and broken down, except during lawful hunting activities. No shooting is permitted within ½ mile of dwellings, hiking trails, campgrounds, information centers, Kelso Dunes, Fort Piute, or any other public gathering areas.

What a crock of ****ing horse ****. (the first three sentences)

******** ****ing ******* treehugging **** government ****tards.

Bringing my rifles was half the fun of this trip. **** it.

Well I don't really don't know enough to really comment on plinking in the park. Now with that said, I strongly disagree with needing a permit for a firearm and having to store it unloaded. I'm not going to be cruising down near the border unarmed or with an unloaded firearm.

Don't need a permit to own or transport a firearm there.

Need a permit to hunt in certain areas of the preserver.

Need to be "hunting" in order to legally discharge a firearm there (at least in the California parts)

See where I am going with this.

I agree with your last sentence 100%

I'm actually thinking about heading back to Tucson this summer but nothing is set in stone yet.
