Ordered it originally, but deleted it yesterday after watching all the recent YouTube videos. The applique is more unique and sets the truck apart from a standard F-150, but I worry about it fading over time in the hot desert sun and the "clean" look tailgate also looks great.

On the Platinum F-150, this item is made of aluminum, but some seem to think on the Raptor it is made of plastic. Does any one know for sure what material is used on the Raptor?

I think it looks good on the darker colors but not so much on the lighter colors....I will not be ordering it on the Silver.....too much contrast

I agree that it looks great on some colors but the fading over time and the plastic construction are the main reasons I opted out of this option.

I ordered without it... and without the other 2G in decals...
I've found aftermarket solutions in the past that looked better for less money.
I would be willing to bet that you'll be able to order that appliqué from a Ford dealer for less money than the option at some point.
