I have a gen 2 and saw a post awhile back of guys mounting there AR pistol or carbine under rear seat.
I was wondering if anyone had links to site with Velcro or pictures to share?
I’d like to mount my AR under rear seat.
if there are better options I’m open to suggestions also.
Thanks. Eric.

So just keep in mind that the F150 and not just the Raptor, is exceedingly easy to break into, thanks to the front door cylinders being exposes. That said, I got underseat molle panels from Sunrise Tactical, and then grabbed some vecro straps from amazon to facilitate keeping the rifle secured.

For this kind of mounting, you’ll want to secure the mag, or trigger well etc. to keep the gun from rotating from weight when you put the seat down.

I also have molle seat backs from Sunrise that I use for other stuff; bags and such.
There are some carbine mounts that work on the back of the front seats. They’re a little more secure but also more obvious.

Lots of different places
I opted for behind the rear seat (SCREW) when I take a carbine, it’s a lesser-known storage space, be advised some states consider that “hidden compartment” or some shit:

Saw a YouTube video of an AR mount/lock mounted to the rear underseat but the name escapes me. A truck bunker offers the best security but the compromise is price and accessibility. The best place is between the driver’s seat and console but the deflector or charging handle will scratch up the console trim...

Check out Graymantac too, they have polymer moly Grids that you can mount to your seat back or maybe modify for under your seat.
