Only if the dog wrote his name in the dirt;) And then again, that would only be a temporary landmark.

Ok - After a long tour today breaking in the new wheels, I just had to stop at this place in southern Alberta... The title is nothing short of redneck priceless...

The first two are the place (landmark), and the third is my entry because of the logistics of the parking lot and getting the actual scenery in the photo.

The actual cliff from the best angle I could find without having the Keystone cops chase me off...

If you can read the sign, apparently it was cheaper on arrows etc. a few thousand years ago, and the Indians would just round up herds of buffalo and stampede'em off the cliff.
Beats the hell outta chasing them down with a spear and tomahawk I guess...

Here is my entry - Dallas's newest landmark, the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. This thing is a true beauty with the suspension coming to the center instead of the outside edges like on traditional bridges (golden gate).

The photo I am entering was not my first choice. I will save that one for the future. Instead, I took a photo of the Citgo sign in Kenmore Square, Boston. If anyone is a baseball fan, you've seen this sign above the Green Monstah at Fenway Park. This was the weekend home opener for the Sox, and the 100th aniversary of the park. The Bruins were playing this afternoon and the Boston Marathon was on the following Monday. I was in town to see the circus with my family. It was a very very busy weekend in Boston, so getting this shot with very little traffic was wicked hard. haha. Enjoy:

This photo shows the clowns I went to the circus with:

Does the Rouge plant count as a landmark?

I would think so... Or take a drive up 75.. The 45th parallel is the half way point between Equator and the North Pole..
*******, Michigan -
Halfway Marker - 45th Parallel
Map - Halfway Marker - 45th Parallel, *******, MI

Or a bit longer drive The Mackinac Bridge, currently the third longest suspension bridge in the world.

Ya I know its a long drive for a picture..ha ha

Landmark Picture

I am hoping this landmark will peak the interest of both the American raptor owners and fellow Canadian owners, this house is the home of William Naismith and yes.. it is a landmark.. well it is here in Ontario!
William Naismith invented the sport of Basketball, you'd think us Canadaians would be a little better at it wouldn't you!
Any wayI drive past this place every day on my way to work.
