Apple Airplay ONLY shows audio from Spotify

While running a dongle to get my Apple CarPlay to be wireless I can ONLY see the audio from Spotify. It won’t show Google Maps AND a radio station or Google maps AND Sirius station. Just shows Google Maps and Spotify. How do I get the split screen to show my truck audio source from what’s currently playing??

Well at least you can crank Neil Young via spotify… oh wait.

No honestly, subscribed bacause i too am toying with purchasing the wireless unit but not if its all buggy. What Gen Rap do you have?

To be clear, the dongle works flawlessly. Amazon purchase. No issues w it.

It’s more how the ford sync interacts w wireless Apple CarPlay than anything I think.

When your CarPlay is displayed on screen you get NO external truck / sync generated info (temp outside, radio station playing currently, etc). It’s just a full screen of your phone. Hence why I’m seeing ONLY Spotify.

I want to know if there is a way to get the screen (run by sync) to split to see half car play half sync info so I can see radio stations from the truck and google maps for example from the apple car play.

My wife’s bmw does this flawlessly. You’d think ford have it figured out too. Am I missing a setting inside sync or how I have it set up?
