I just bought a 2014 Ruby Red Raptor. and I am adding the Roush Blower and exhaust. I bought the blower for $6600.00, exhaust 1000 and $800 to install. My RR Raptor cost $58, 885.00. At gob Tomes Ford and will cost 63K roughly out the door plus the above cost.. it was a 3k save doing it this way.

DID IT HAVE ANY AFFECT ON YOUR FORD WARRANTY? DID YOU GET EXTENDED WARRANTY? IF SO DOES IT COVER THAT?
Didn't the roush come with the cat back system? stickers and head rests?

Make sure to get the fire extinguisher with it! You may need it.

The Roush kit comes with a Supplemental Power Train warranty included for the 525fwhp
and then you need to buy the second warranty for the stage2 kit.
Both of these warranties are back up by Roush themselves. Not Ford!!!!!!
These are Supplemental Power Train Warranties!!! Since Ford's Power Train will be voided.

The Whipple Supplemental Power Train warranty comes from Cornerstone Warranties.
And does not come included you need to buy that at the time of install.
Again, this is a Supplemental Power Train Warranty!!! Since Ford's Power Train will be voided

If you have your SC installed by an authorized installer (either one)
then your whole Factory Warranty is not automatically voided, except the Power Train.

Again, Ford Motor Company Does Not warranty the power train on a Raptor with a Supercharger.
Nor does Ford back up any (and I mean any) of these Supplemental Power Train Warranties.

Everything else is cover by Ford.

It's up to the dealer to work with these supplemental warranties, if their even willing to do that.

This is the way it's been since day one and nothing has changed.

First, 12k is about $2500 more than i spent on mine.

Warranty is honored the same as the ford warranty, at any Ford dealership.

It is the Hennessey raptor with a Roush that has a problem.

And in the end, ya gotta pay to play.

Not all Ford Dealership have to honor these supplemental warranties.
Some Ford dealers don't even want to get involved with it at all.

After the supplemental power train warranty expires 3(for Roush) 5(for Whipple) years that's it.
Even if you have the extended Ford warranty

You would think that if it went from ford to Roush then me it would all be covered by ford. If you buy a Shelby on lot then ford warranties everything right?

Roush wants it that way so they know no one beat the crap out of it.
I believe the warranty is a little better for the stage 2 from Roush if it's done that way but your going to pay for it big time.
(I read that somewhere on a thread on this forum, I did not check it though)
When Roush came out with the stage 2 the only way to get the warranty was to have the dealer send the truck straight to them.
It seems that has changed now because you can buy the second warranty now with the upgrade kit.
And If you have it installed by a authorized installer.

Nope, American Shelby is a company like Roush you would need a supplemental warranty from them as well if your going to do the Whipple package.

The only SC vehicle Ford Warranties (power train included) is the Shelby GT500 with the Eaton SC......
Not the Roush Mustang or the (Non GT)Shelby or the Saleen. (power trains)

If your not going to be racing around and beating the crap out of her every time you get in her,
and sticking to the Tunes and mods recommend from the SC manufactures.

You'll be fine.

Go for it!

It's worth it!
