ok i couldnt wait and just installed icon 3.0 coil overs and shocks in the rear and , it blew the stock setup out of the water!!! the geisers were so stiff that the bumps or speedbumps wouldl rattle my teeth, they were wayyy to stiff for my liking, so i finally changed all my shocks to icon and WOW what a difference, the shocks themselves are on a whole nother level that are fully adjustable. so you can adjust them based on what your driving or if you plan to do jumps , whatever it is theres a setting for everything. for those on the fence , grab fox or icon and dont look back, rick@freedomotorsports gave me killer deals and tons of usefull info so i would pm him for pricing if you are interested. the geisers were just to much even for daily driving i didnt like the stiffness of it, i will be putting them up for sale here today prob. let meknow if you have any qeustions. but the million dollar qustion that we all were asking , if its worth the upgrade . YESSSS , YES IT IS. my truck feels like a damn luxury car right now and doesnt feel any little bumps in the road, nor does it slam the front down after a speed bump like it was doing before on geisers.

I had Geiser for about a year. the ride dose take some getting use to. Its is stiffer dose not soak up those small bumps as well as the stock ones did. I am now on Fox 3.0 along with Deavers +4HD. The front is adjustable but I suggest adjusting before installing as they are not easy to adjust when on the truck. As for the ride it is much better than factory but the only downside is you have to adjust them and take notes. and before going off road you need to adjust them again. so it dose become a pain every now and then.

LOL i was thinking the same thing now, was wishing i got deavers +4 instead of +3 i never expected to buy the icon coil overs for this truck, but here i am, and it drives like a dream, im sue if i went with deavers plus 4 and adjust the front to be at 2.5 inches it would be like half to an inch difference. i did not adjust the icons out of the box at all, and the were both at 43 inches all around , now after 2 days of driving its finally starting to setlle im having about an inch difference with the front being lower now but thats with no adjustment whatsoever, if i crank the coils a nother qaurter inch or so it will be back to level. im positive if i wanted to crank the front coilover to 3 inches it would be higher than the rears by either half and inch to a full inch lol.

Wonder if it would make a negative impact to add back in a small block say 1”...might try this until Rick can source me a set of Icon leafs and sell my Deaver +2HD....

Think I’m going to pull the trigger on the Fox 3.0 factory set up!

good question im wondering if i can add a half inch block with my deavers lol, so i dont have to change them to +4 and get a little higher lift, i have plenty in front to raise it up now . but either way if thats not a option il enjoy it the way it is for now. as im real happy with how it feels. stock was wayyyy to soft in the front, dangerous soft for me, the geisers, with the ****** roads i have to drive through reminded me everyday that they are not the spring i need for my daily driving, so after finally getting the real deal, it has solved all my negative experiences, and now fully enjoy the animal.

I don’t think anyone makes a half inch block lol! The one inch is smallest I have been able to find should work fine. Now what kind of quality block can we find that will work? Aluminum or steel? I will probably end up with the Icon leafs when they are in stock again.

yea a one inch would be fine to, but it would be better to sell my deavers and get the +4 over the block, but the block would be so much cheaper, i just dont know if the bolts would be long enough at that point. im still playing around with my new coil over setup, i would hate to get it to ride stiff to make it alot higher in the front , but il play around and see how it feels to see if i would want to go any higher.

I think at this point I see value in the Icon leaf option with the ability to adjust at any time. Think this will be the route I take over another set of deavers.

i did not know the icon leafs were adjustable thats a first for me, everyone was doing deavers here so i figured they are the best stuff to get, and indeed they are a qaulity product i am happy with they way they perform, i never had icon leafs and they showed to have less leafs than deavers so i wasnt sure if that was a bad thing compared to the many leafs that deavers come with

I love my deavers but the coating on the icons and the ability to adjust sets them apart!
