Does anyone have a personal experience with selling their used shocks to TSW?
I have a set off my 2013 that I have no use for and I was thinking about selling them to TSW. My concern is I'll spend the money to ship the shocks, they'll evaluate them, tell me they're junk, and it'll actually cost me money overall. Bodies have corrosion and one front one was leaking. Are they trustworthy?

They're trustworthy if you ask me. Probably just looking to add some more units for their trade in program. However, depending on what they're offering you might get more just listing them in the garage sale area here. Lots of people want them for conversions and just get them rebuilt on their own.

I thought about offering them up on here, just don't know what they're worth. TSW website estimates up to $75 per shock. No idea what it would cost to ship.

If it's "up to" $75 I'd definitely list them here. I think my blown GEN1 fronts went for 2-250 when I sold them. They were in decent cosmetic shape though. I'd list them for $400 or so for the set and let the buyer pay shipping. I'd also be hesitant if TSW won't give you a better idea on price even if you send them pics.

I haven't contacted them at all, I'm just looking at their website. I'm pretty sure they would qualify in the up to $75 category due to corrosion. My concern would be spending $100 or so to ship them and then having them say they're garbage, even if they aren't. Honestly is becoming harder and harder to find nowadays. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid, lol

They are absolutely trustworthy, but shipping them to texas from Michigan would probably kill the deal. Does @ShocksbyHammer buy them? He's up north somewhere.
Not sure if they do, or where they're located. I may list them on here before wholesaling them to a rebuilder. Would like to see them go to someone who needs them.

Finally got around to taking some pictures of the shocks. Off my 2013 crew that was daily driven. No hard miles. 70,584 miles on them. Replaced due to right front shaft seal leaking and mileage. Asking $300. Buyer pays shipping from 49946. 2 boxes, 32 and 40 lbs each. 20230311_103045.jpg20230311_103103.jpg

Does TSW include fresh Fox steeckers with their rebuild? Or are they available from TSW or anybody else? I've found lots of eBay sellers with generic Fox stickers but not the actual oem ones for a Gen 1.
