Anyone running a soft topper?

A buddy had one on a Ram 2500 diesel. He camps in it a lot and loves it. Worked really well until a few months ago when he came back from camping and accidentally left some trash/garbage in it overnight. A black bear stopped by that night and let him know he didn't like it AT ALL! It looked like someone went at it with a chainsaw.

I'll see if he has any. It was one of those things, he was tired when he got home, and he parked it outside without a thought. Next morning it was all tore up. He lives in a pretty active bear area.
