Anyone Line-x the factory side steps?

One of my trucks has the side steps linexd but I don't know if they stripped it before or not. My guess would be no as long as they were clean an incased.

LINE-X will stick to the factory coating, it does not have to be stripped off. The LINE-X dealer either needs to use their ReNew adhesion promoter or one of their three primers.

Be sure go ask for LINE-X Premium or Platinum so it won't fade.

rain-X windowed cleaner...odd but it works well. It is not sticky and does not collect dirt

Thanks, yes right over top... and I pulled the boards off and dropped them off. I did clean them real good with just soap and water and a brush.

I was have some issues with a grey milky film on them as well. No longer!

One more thing...make sure the line-x is allowed to cure. I have heard of some possible bubbling if they are "tacky" when the steps are put back on the truck and a persons full weight is applied....
