My right recon tail light went out today after a year. 3500 miles on truck. I have the hyper flash. And they were always to dim. F recon.

So......any choices here other than Recon and Anso tails? Frankly Spyder looks to be in the same mold as the rest. I know they all come out of China.

I know nothing about the spyder lights. You could get those or wait till raptor retrofit or RSI come out with there tail lights!

Wonder how much longer that will be? Recon and Spyder usually have a life span of a year or two till led's start to die out. The corvette community had many different LED companies that sold LED tails. Hope we get some real options for the Raptor.

Ordered some Spyders and returned them because they look like garbage on the Raptor. You don't get that all black look that most of us are after. RSI's would be the best bet right now and I'm probably just going to wait it out and get a quality product. Recon is a definite no. Quality, customer service and life span all play a huge role in that decision. I can conclude that there isn't a pair of quality LED tail lights on the market right now...but that will change as soon as RSI releases theirs.

I have Spyder and I have encountered a intermittent hyper-flash only on driver side. Unfortunately it started about a month out of warranty and they will not cover.

I love the lights but wish I could figure out the flash. it will work normally and then hyper-flash and go back to normal with no rhyme or reason what-so-ever.

I will be at a light and they are normal then flash fast for about 2-3 blinks then normal for one, two, three or four then back to hyper and back to normal. It drives me up a wall some times.

Learning to deal with them cause I'm not up to spending another $300 for something intermittent.

Sadly I have to agree with everyone else, have the recon front and rear when I first got my truck in 2010, and now I cant wait to swap em.......just too many problems, and the brightness wasn't anywhere what I was hoping for unfortunately!

Well I hope RSI is reading these post. Looks like there is a market out there. I also had intermittent issues with the hyperflash but I could live with it. It's the short liife span that honks me off. 500 bucks for about a years life is crazy!!!
