Anyone know what these sounds are?

I have to take my truck in next week for a whistling sound that is getting worse. It used to only do it on first start until things were warmed up then not again until it sat for a few hours. It will now do it on starts after the engine is warm but it is random. It is most pronounced on the drivers side of the engine bay and wheel well. My first though was air/vacuum leak or turbo.

Now there is another noise I just heard today. It sounds like a static or crackling noise coming from the top of the engine. Its not the cover vibrating or anything like that and you can only hear it with the hood open.

It is a 2019 with 6400 miles.
Any thoughts?

Have you checked the earl?:)

1st one kind of sounds like a fuel pressure regulator on an GM LS engine.
2nd one, timing chain slap?

Let us know what the dealer comes up with.

Hopefully not and something simple but this truck never fails to entertain.

The transmission sounds like cartoon laser sound effects and now the engine sounds like a downed power line haha!
