Every place I call wants to give me a spiel about how these are rare blah blah blah.

I have cash and am ready to buy but they don't care.

Anyone point me in a direction?

Good luck. I ordered a Raptor from my local Ford dealer here in MN. on Jan. 25, 2012 for $4,000 under invoice. The purchase price doesn't mean much if they can't deliver the truck. I was told orders took 2 months, so I order, put money down and the time line changed to 3 months and later to 4 months. I have contacted the SVT team and Ford Customer Services and just get the run around on a delivery date. What a way to run a company.

9sword, I think you just got an initial run-around. My dealer straight up told me 4-6 months with a realistic timeline of 5-6 months. I think even Randy's orders are taking a while now.

Jmann, I don't know if you'd be able to get a deal with one off the lot. If you order they might work with you if you are willing to wait. I checked with 3 dealers and they wouldn't budge (at the time they were even 11's when 12's were able to be ordered) so I just went to my regular dealer where I've purchased multiple vehicles. They worked with me. Now just waiting. Are you willing to travel for it?

Allocation is key

I went to dealer and ordered on Feb 7, 2012 and the dealer told me it would not truly get ordered until 1st week of March due to his alocation.
March 7th I got a new "true" order number. That is the date I got the order number from the dealer, he might have ordered it before that date, I'm not sure.
Today is March 21st and I have a VIN#, sticker, and a build date of April 2. Apx 2 weeks from the true order date.

I think (note, my opinion) the delay people are seeing is dealer alocation. Not Ford's production, that seems to be in line once the order truly goes in.

Just picked up a loaded Screw for $700 over invoice last night, right down the road and off the lot!!! Just had to wait for the stars to align with the dealer.

JMANN, how do you come up with "invoice" amount? I see several people talk about $$ over invoice. How does one find out what the actual invoice amount is?
