I've had a "rok block" tailgate gap cover installed since April of 2017. Works like it should, hasn't peeled up in Utah winters or AZ summers.

Hi, you might want to install a tail gate assist shock. I have mine installed and made it more convenient for me. Here is a good article read.

Super easy - hose it, use a blower or sweep it. FYI the bedrug isn't actually made of any organic material, it is plastic. The 'rug' fibers are literally polypropylene (but soft like a rug) so it won't stain, mildew etc.
