Are those things off of battery hold. I'll never forgot watching a dude sitting for 30 minutes at a charging station 'filling up' his Lighting. I drove by on way to store and noticed him...drove back 30 min later and he's still there in his 'truck'. Don't understand the EV craze--they are dirtier than gas vehicles (electricity comes from coal or natural gas most times). Limited range. Look bad. Unproven battery tech. No thanks.

But the fact you're even thinking about it tells me you have bought into the greenie kool aid.
and keep in mind these people are 100% doom scrolling social media or some other braindead exercise while they wait the hour and 20 minutes to charge the stupid thing. I guarantee they aren't reading a novel or doing something productive. The retailers are smart because people will likely walk into the store even though they only drove there to charge.

I still think the way to do it is buy a truck from the Midwest with a block heater, drive to SoCal and “plug in”… great pick up line… “ladies check out the first plugin Raptor”… I’m sure it would work a few times.
A certain kind of woman would notice that you a) have money, and b) are dumber than dirt. :D So yes it would "work" if getting the old wiener wet is your only goal .... but I'm telling you, livestock is cheaper in the long run and the short run.

Hahahaha, you guys are brutal. I didn't realize I would stike a nerve. I love my 2018 Raptor. But I am also intrigued by new tech. I actually have orders for the following vehicles:

2023 Bronco Raptor with build date of 4/19/23
2023 F150 Lightning Lariat ER with an estimated delivery date of June - Aug 2023
2023 F150 Raptor 37. Dealer took my order, I am next in line, but he has no current allocation. So I assume will get bumped to MY 2024
GMC Hummer (ETA who the hell knows)
Tesla Cybertruck (2025 maybe ?)

I like big trucks and I can not lie.
