Anyone experience engine misfire/oil burning up?

Here’s your proof. My truck finally has been repaired after two and half months. There’s definitely a known issue that needs to be addressed.

A couple tips, the dealer needed a specific tool to make the repair. After the parts came in, they realized this and had to wait another month for the tool. I also called their customer care line to request an extended warranty. The first call went to an India call center which was quite the experience then I got someone in the states that can actually communicate. I asked for an extended warranty or buy it back. They were willing to do either. I took the warranty because I don’t want another Raptor with the same damn problem. Good luck.

Part of owning a truck with an ecoboost engine in it is adding oil every so often. My dad has an ecoboost it runs through a quart every thousand miles or so.

My 2017 Raptor is my 3rd Ecoboost F150 and none of them have used any oil. I usually do 5k mile OCIs but went 6k on the Raptor once and the dip stick has always read full as it did on my other 2 Ecoboosts.

My 18 has 891 miles on it and I had to add a quart today. Checked it after washing and waxing it and it was exactly 1 quart low according to the dipstick.

Curious if those who have VCT or engine failure have the start/stop feature on?

Probably about 60% highway/40% in town. (in town = not enough traffic and stop lights to be considered city)
Yes, I do a lot of jack rabbit starts to get up to speed ASAP.
