Did the exact same road trip at 1000 miles, and again at 2500 miles.

600 miles on the interstate @ 81mph got me 15.9 mpg early in the trucks life. Did the exact same trip this week but this time 600 miles @ 81mph got me 18.1 mpg.

I am thinking the truck is just broke in now. Particularly the drive line has loosened up a little.

Anyone else have this experience?

I’m hoping for an increase in MPG and power after break in. Quite honestly I’m disappointed so far and am regretting getting rid of my gen1.

I just crossed over 1800 miles and am only averaging 14.5 miles at best so far on 91. I'm hoping to see a slight improvement too. If not then no sweat just more trips to the pump.

I saw a 2mpg bump from the first few of tanks of gas to what I was getting at 5k. Been pretty steady ever since.

Same grade of gas used on both trips?

Mine started out around 14-15 mpg when I first picked it up in Jan 2017. Now I'm lucky to get above 11 mpg.

I've got a bit over 17k on mine and I'm getting maybe around .5 mpg higher than when it was new. But I also have a bed cover now which could potentially help with drag.

No change for me after break in it did see about 1mpg from the new catted down pipes. Was at 13.5 and now seeing 14.5 with all mountain driving, around 17 freeway at 80-90 mph.
