You probably could have avoided spending those hours haggling if you did all your negotiations with the internet sales guy over the phone and by email.

And MMC Racing mentioned getting his Raptor from Vista Ford in Woodland Hills, our very own XJRguy got his Raptor there (and his GT500) as he's been very pleased with their wilingness to make deals.

Correct. I can vouch for Gina over at Vista. She was very pleasant to deal with on both transactions. Probably one of the easiest car buying scenarios I've had in a long time.

I also posted a review of this dealership on yelp if anyone wants to look it up.

I was not paid or comped at all to write any of it either.

I drive through the canyon quite often on my way from Sylmar off the 210 to my office in Burbank. When the 118-5 interchange traffic looks heavy on my SYNC's traffic display I stay on the 210 East and get off at Sunland and run through the canyon.

I have SVTOffroad business cards with this/our URL on them. If I see those Raptors I'll leave a card on them. I know where an orange one is parked in Burbank - I left a card on that one but haven't seen anyone from Burbank on here.

Where are you located?

I'm located in Sunland really close to Ralph's and such. I see quite a few Raptors in my area. I have see a black raptor parked right off of Foothill and a white raptor parked in the parking lot behind blockbuster.
I probably have seen your Raptor then, I did see a black raptor getting on the 5 from the 118 once.

I can't wait to get my truck! I always borrow my buddy's truck if we go dirtbiking... It sucks...
I wanna go on a Raptor run, it seems really cool.

Simple, do what dozens of other CA's did, go to Team Ford in Las Vegas... give them a call as I am pretty sure they will beat any CA deal!

I'll post it again as it worked for me (got the exact truck I wanted for invoice). I used the American Express Car buying service...it's free to AmEx card holders.

Actually I recall that NRA as well a hunting groups had a deal like this as well. Whereas if you join you can get a truck priced on-line and then they tell you which dealer will participate. I did this early on and indeed got a price for I think 1K over dealer invoice, which was not a bad deal. It was a dealer in AZ. I ended up at Team, but these web deals are a good way to set a negotiation price in place!

So I entered my info on the American Express link at noon today, within 2 hours I had 3 phone calls from 3 different dealerships as well as 7 emails
