Wow...thats pretty sad. You bring in a $70K truck and they treat you like you brought in a civic.

I gotta go farther- THAT'S DOWN RIGHT ****** OF FORD!!! On the local lot they have a Raptor sitting next to a F350 King Ranch dually diesel, within dollars of same price. So that puts you in, or did sorry man, one of the highest price trucks Ford makes! They should have you in ANY truck you wanna drive.

MTR, I hope you’re back on the road soon.

keep in mind, unless you bought the extended warranty with rental coverage, neither Ford, nor the dealer is obligated to provide you a vehicle. Further, if they do, some states make that an exception to the lemon law; that is, the time in the shop for which you have a loaner or paid rental car, doesn’t count.

I’m not saying they shouldn’t help us out for the money we spent, just that they’re not legally obligated to do it. In the grand scheme of things think of it this way - cr@ppy Civic > bicycle > walking.

Guess there not obligated then, however, the Ford customer service rep, said she would look into it and call me in 24hrs. Been over 48 hrs and crickets! We own 4 Ford diesels and 2 gassers on our farm. Guess Ford doesn't give a sh$$t. Truck has been out of service for a week now, with no estimate of repair time. Also when I get it back it's gotta go to the body shop cause the drivers door is hitting the fender. No, I have not been launching it!

I know this is a tough nut, and it’s easy for us to tell you to be patient but it will get sorted out. Be patient, put miles on your loaner - maybe a vacation, whatever, it’s miles on their dime.

Just got it back, Dealer said it had a loose plug from the factory on the top of the transmission. They put 100 miles on it after that, testing it for leaks. Seems to work okay,no heating or leaks. Hope it holds up in the long run after this.
