You made it sound so simple!!
I searched high and low for a LB on the lot and finally gave up and ordered one at 1500 ADM. Glad your experience was so easy, enjoy your new Raptor :)

Thanks all!! The more I drive the Gen 2, the more impressed I am by it!!

I saw your truck delivered in the SC thread and I think it is gorgeous!! I have been a fan of the blue since the 1st Gen, obviously!!

I did get a "fair well" pic of the old blue and new blue yesterday. I had to drop off the second key to the dealership. It was a sad moment and I said thanks for the memories!! My wife asked if i wanted a pic hugging old blue before we left!!

I dont know if it was simple. I had visited pretty much every dealer in Charleston. I stopped by here about two weeks ago and they told me about the two they had coming, one blue, one black, they weren't spoken for and printed the window stickers. I really wanted a blue or gray SCREW with 802 and a moonroof ($66K-ish) I wasn't really wanting to spend $71K, and told them to call me when they got there anyhow. So a few days ago they arrived and I drive the 17 and really was hooked. I got a pre-approval from USAA and started negotiations since I was hoping to just pay MSRP. Didnt work out quite that well, ended up $2500 over, but with the 14's OUTSTANDING ability to hold its value (I drove it 3 years/35,00 miles and lost only 16% off MSRP) AND the fact I had purchased a ford ESP for the 14 and will get most of that back, AND I was looking at having to buy a new set of BFGs here in the next 12 months, AND South Carolina's AWESOME taxing of vehicles (only $399 flat sales tax!!!!!) I came out okay. Someone in another thread wrote something to the effect of "yeah, we might have paid a few extra dollars, but we are out living/enjoying life while others are planning it!!"

To anyone that is waiting for their truck, it will be worth it!!
