Another Fog Light Inquiry

On a side note (although I may have to start another thread to answer this), my 14 has the light switch with the pull out for fog lights. Is there any way utilize this option, meaning is there already a harness somewhere I can tap into? In a perfect world, my main fog lights from my set u would be turned on there and the other 2 fog lights would be turned via the aux switches.

I did some research, but all I found were write ups that upgraded to the light switch with the pull out option and wiring involved. But but I already have that switch…

Depending on what lights you get you might have to use the light manufacturer harness or use oem lights .

Not necessarily. But it can be done. Ive done it to my truck. It requires adding a compatible switch with the fog pull feature, and adding wiring to that, to the steering column connector, over to the fuse panel, and then out to the engine bay where youd run it to your fogs. If you are not utilizing your upfitters, that would be a much simpler solution for switching.

Be aware, I ordered the oem pinset and matched part numbers and what I received did not fit and match up to all the right sizes. Thankfully I had some other pins that were close enough to work, and had bought a used fog switch that had a connector that I could pillage pins from, but assuming that my experience was not a fluke with the ford PN's, it is a little but of a choose your own adventure situation.
