I have the same issue, it only seems to happen when it's cold out. I've learned to live with it or turn up the radio.
I have the same issue x2, there's a nasty sounding one from behind the dash somewhere. Sounds like a sharp nail on glass. Happens more when it's cold and sometimes so bad I think the windshield is going to crack. The other super annoying one is my passengers seat will rattle/squeak when I'm by myself. (no not from that!) it's like the seat back is loose and jiggling slightly from bumps/cracks in the road. Very very annoying.
Hi DCSVT1,
Have you ever mentioned these noises to your dealer? Might be worthwhile to bring up the next time you're there. What's your truck's model year/mileage?
Crystal
Actually I haven't gone back to the dealer since I got it this past fall but am due for an oil change now. I'm still trying to decide which dealer to bring it to. My local dealer (Medford Ford) is about 2 miles from home but I've had terrible dealings with their service department and would rather go elsewhere. I'm just not familiar with the other dealers in my area and don't want to go from bad to worse. It's a 2010 6.2 Scab with 30k miles.
Thanks for responding, DCSVT1. Let me know when you decide to head in for an appointment so I can check out options to help.

Thanks Crystal. I called Miller Ford, it's about 20 minutes further away but I'll give them a shot. Going in this Saturday for "the works" oil change and tire rotation. Since this is my first time bringing it in I'm also going to ask they give it a once over. I'll mention the squeaky seat and rattle behind the dash but am not expecting them to do much since it's well past the bumper to bumper warranty.... but it doesn't hurt to ask.
