Amsoil HD metal protector removal

I'm going to get the rear fender wells linex'd, so I'll need to remove the HD MP protectant. What's the best way to completely remove it to prep for the linex spray?

Lots of time but I would not think it would matter if it's on under the Linex,

Does anyone know what the linex procedure is? Do they prep the paint at all? Maybe there's a part in the process that will remove the surface coat.

In a bed application they scuff it.

Spry it down with WD-40, let it soak, use a stiff brush and a pressure washer.

Agreed with the Wd-40, thats what we use at work to remove rust inhibitor on fixtures. Some WD-40 and some scotchbrite works.

When your done with that spray it down with some brake parts cleaner to remove the WD-40 residue otherwise nothing will stick
