Anyone on here have experience with either? I’m familiar with the AMS name but not the intercooler they offer.
I can’t find much info on the Mpt. Does it go in the stock position?

The AMS and Wagner are both OEM intercooler replacements that fit in the same mounting location as the stock cooler. The AMS intercooler is larger than the Wagner, but both offer relatively easy installation and superior cooling over stock.

One upside to the Wagner is it's CARB compliant should you live in one state that requires it.

We've got both in stock! Shoot us a PM or call us at 888-466-8991 for details.

Curious how would a smog inspection location even figure out if you had a non-stock intercooler in that location? No world that they are looking that close or removing trim / skids to investigate.

So many options Cobb, AMS, Whipple, Wagner, MTP...

Hard to decide which one to get but OEM mounting is definitely a great option.

They wouldn't. And an intercooler isn't part of the emissions system anyway.
