Bought mine in October...probably made from defective materials....I've reached out to AMS and they just offer to refund my $

I like the tubes just want them fixed so they stay on....lots of guys have had them slide off...even on street only trucks

will putting the silencer rings in add more rigidity? Assume the 19s have them, unsure if they fit inside the tubes.
Still haven’t gotten around to installing mine.

Shit, that sucks.

Have you considered a longer rubber hose between the AMS tube and the CAI? Something with more flex might have more give and stay on.

Maybe adding a coupler like below between the AMS tube and the aftermarket CAI would solve the issue? My tubes are still in the box waiting to be installed...

I wonder if the coupler would fit over the connection between the AMS tube and the OEM CAI tube and then be clamped in two spots to prevent them from pulling apart.

I think the sleeve is a good idea if anyone is having this problem.

Removed mine because of reasons already mentioned and pictures already posted. The lady I spoke with said they are working on a fix but to date have heard nothing. I removed mine and put stock back on because I couldn’t trust them and didn’t want to blow something up if they came unattached.

If you off road, the AMS Boost tubes do come off. Ask me how I know?

The tube that connects to the airbox is the problem. Since the fit isn't quite right, the clamp

cannot get a proper fit and it eventually come off. Not good when dirt and dust is flying

This picture is using the stock oem airbox which AMS "claims" to work fine. They need to redesign the tube to have a lip

on the end to allow the clamp to do its job. This has been happening since October 2019 with no solution from AMS.

The AMS TUbe material is weak and collapses

The AMS Tube on the left needs a Lip like on the Aftermarket CAI On the right (Whipple)

So finally got around to installing mine.. I ended up unintentionally installing the clamp (screw) in the exact spot yours collapsed.. as i was tightening it I could see it collapsing in that spot, under the screw.
I rotated the screw part over the seam, in front of ams label. Where it didn’t compress. Tho im sure a couple heat cycles will change it.
Hopefully AMS fixes this and adds a flare to the tube for strength.

In meantime, if it warps on me im going to look at sleeving it with something like below.. cut the end off and slip in tube to the flare. Cant imagine affect flow much. Either that or put the rings back in.

Atleast til AMS fixes it

I called AMS today to see if these fit on the 2019. The lady said that you need a longer vacuum line, but she didnt know which one lol. Anyone knowif thats behind the slipping off? Maybe the line slowly pulling it off till it pops off? Anyone know what line shes talking about?

No the vacuum lines are on the other tube. It simply pulls off because on a design flaw that they won’t fix. Only real way to fix it is to get a longer (5-6”)coupler and push it over the harder plastic rib on the ams tube.

Btw you can make the lines fit, just takes some work
