I'd recommend the Xtreme version. It's made for harsher climates. Features dual motors vs single motor and more traction vs the regular Powerstep.

Dual Motors vs single motor and more traction on the step.

Thx! Definitely on the list to do, like the more naked looks and in my opinion, makes the truck look taller.

I'm 6'7", so I don't need the assistance to get in and out of my truck. In fact, the stock running boards were the 1 thing I liked least about the truck because when I did the test drive I noticed that they were only going to be in the way.

I put the Powersteps on and could not be happier. The nice thing about the way my installer set them up is he put a switch down by the ODB port that allows me to turn the driver side on or off. This way, when I open my door they stay out of the way, but when my wife opens the door on the passenger side the step drops down.

Only one that isn't happy with this solution is my 6 year old daughter, because it makes it tougher for her to get in on my side.

I’ve had them on my 2019 SCrew for about a year now. For what it’s worth the powder coating has been chipping off. They’ve been great to work with on the warranty claim for replacing the first board. Now I noticed the second board starting to chip as well so hopefully it will be replaced like the first. Overall would still recommend as many have said.990C5983-B009-4ED7-95DC-550BAD01E084.jpeg 49D4B5CD-29B0-4E55-A306-72CCE2A178BA.jpeg6D1400A8-72D8-4F50-88EF-AB530939276B.jpeg

Installed mine today! Went with the Xtreme. Very happy with the look and makes it much easier for my wife and kids to get in and out. Thanks Nick@Apollo-Optics!

I too have the Xtreme. Did you have any issues installing them? mine went on easy...
No issues and yes really easy as well took me about 3.5 hours start to finish (with my 3yo son helping ) Think the wiring and lights took the longest.

For anyone wanting the OBD splitter for AMP steps I am pretty sure the AMP splitter is a rebranded Autometer. The AMP is $95 on their site and $75 on Amazon. The Autometer is $30 on Amazon.

AUTO METER 5323 OBD-II Accessory https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0784PC19Q/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

After initially trying a different splitter that Nick@ApolloOptics sent with the steps that wouldn’t activate the steps for some reason I installed the Autometer today and works flawlessly. Thanks Nick for working with me to make this right and try to figure out the issue. Great customer service as alway!

FYI, my 2019 Shelby Baja Raptor came equipped from Shelby, as part of their standard Baja Raptor package, with a custom version of the AMP XL automatic running boards. However, Shelby's version of these custom AMP auto boards are noticeably wider than the standard AMP XL auto boards, and they lower down way closer to the ground than Ford's standard AMP auto boards. They are very easy and convenient for ingress/egress. But, here's the kicker: they are extremely effective rock sliders when retracted. They work like a champ in terms of protecting my doors whilst off-road on all sorts of hostile terrain. On my woindow sticker, it says, "XL Power Steps with Rock Sliders and Lights." I didn't realize this when I bought it new from my Ford dealer, but after my first short while of driving her, and getting in and out, I realized this aspect is one of my most favorite things about my truck.
