I've spent several weeks browsing the exhaust forums and have watched many videos and I still can't decide on what set of headers I want to run with a catback.

On my Mustang, I'm running Kooks LTs with a Catted H and Mufflers and it's ridiculously loud. I'm looking for loud in my Raptor but not as loud as the Mustang and zero drone if possible since I tend to use bluetooth with my clients while driving on the highway.

Header options (Kooks, American Racing or SW Headers)
- leaning towards American Racing but I saw a video on youtube about someone complaining about the internals of one falling apart prematurely?

Muffler options (behind passenger tire unless they have one behind both tires -- haven't found one yet) - Borla S or Touring....or Magnaflow 15588 setup?

I got the kooks headers, they sounds great with stock muffler and even better with borla carback. I did not install the ford racing fromt exhaust collector that comes in the kit, the sound is amazing.
Only thing bad lucky was that i recieved a extension harness for another type of connection, so i could not complete the installation. Waiting for the right harness
I used my truck anyway changing o2 sensor possition so it can reach the ****, but now i got a P0153 DTC code
This is how it sound with stock exhaust

I did not install the streight tube collector or front exhaust, because those are to install with stock headers, kooks you have to cut in order to plug them togueter
Bove connection without the front exhaust are female connector so cut a streight pipe and put it in between

Hmmm very interesting. I'm leaning towards American Racing since they are so close to me and I don't think I'd have to cut that out with their setup:

I just put the SW headers with the lightning style exhaust it is a nice set up a little loud but i love it. I will tell you the headers are very nice and if you are interested I can make you a good deal and deliver them to New Jersey so you will not get hit with shipping. I have a business in east Rutherford and make trips there often. So if interested pm me.

I see that in all aftermarket headers you need to make an adapter because the aftermarket doesnt not end with flange as stocks headers.
The ford racing by borla require a flange adapter in order to fit the front muffler collector, or best option is to delete it, i like how my set up sound with out the from muffler.
Even better than my ford lightning team jdm lomg tubes headers with magnaflow catback 2 1/5" tubes
KB supercharged with 6 lower pulley.

Do you know how many hp the ford racing catback with headers makes?
