Just my .02, when I installed mine a couple of months ago I was careful as could be and still swore that the bolt was cross threading but just didn't 'feel' like a cross thread and pulled up tight. When I did the other side I took a close look at the bolts and noticed the blue Loctite. Wire wheeled them off and a drop of new Loctite and they went right in.
