Anyone have experience with the UPR billet drain plug? Previous discussion in the maintenance forum really didn't have any meaningful responses (and I bumped it up again today), so posting here for any input.

Thank you!!!Gen 3 is an aluminum pan with a conventional drain plug. It has been that was since mid-year 2018 Gen 2s.
No failure of the pans, the composite material is actually very strong. The issue is the inherent difficulty of sealing a composite pan to an aluminum block. It requires a special procedure be followed, which includes special cleaners and prep chemicals. It’s time consuming and tedious, which is of course counter productive to mass production.Thank you!!!
Why did Ford revert back to aluminum pans / traditional drain plugs vs composite?
Were there failures?
