Of those 2 I would say the 40. But I would strongly recommend the magnaflow magnapack. I had both on my truck. I had the 40 first and i have the magnapack now. The magnapack is much better!!!

I have the 44 and it looks identical on the outside to the one in the pic you posted the link to. My 44 is great when ya punch it and it does drone some at 70 but not so much that you can't talk at each other and listen to tunes. The 44 really BARKS when ya want it to! I still have my resinator before the 44. May be why its not defining.

All I can recomend is to make SURE the muffler shop does not RESTRICT the 3 inch oem pipe down when mating it to the muffler. The guy that did mine coned down the the inlet pipe inside the inlet side of the muffler and it gave me a flat spot when hammering it. Between 4500 and 5500 rpm's. Took it back and had him fix it. The pipe he had in was restricked down to about 2 5/8 or so. Just a note. The guy was a MO RON! AHhahaaaaaaaa.

I have the Flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow which is specifically designed to reduce cabin drone. at 2200-2500 RPM under load it does drone a bit but its more of just a rumble. At highway speed 75-80 is where I have the most drone but its not too much because you're contending with road noise from the tires and wind noise so the muffler drone is the least of my worries. 1/2 volume on the radio makes it all go away.

Thank you guys for all the imput! I think I'm going to go with the 40.

yes! thats 1 point for me:ROFLJest: You will love it. Just make sure if you have the piping redone, be sure they make mandrel bends or it kills the sound.
They do "crush bends" (on the left) vs mandrel bends (right)

I did not see it brought up. If you are just looking for a little more sound and want to be able to control it ? You could look into an Exhaust dump / cutout . Y pip easy to put in . I am running a Doug's Header cutout ; gigantean. Most the guys are running another brand that is a butterfly style and weld in. SVT did a good job with the stock exhaust ; 3 inch , stainless and free flowing . A cutout lets you open it up and less the horses run or the dog's bark when you want , then at the push of the button back to a respectable db level. Just an idea.
