The blue interior with orange stitching...I am not sure about this one. I do like the screens and the interior quality. I was hoping for a little more revolutionary changes but if I am honest with myself I am relieved this is what they gave us. Saved me a bunch of money, maybe. Knowing me I will see one on the lot next time I am in for service and try and convince myself I have to have it.

Ford has been doing the orange over black leather combination since the first 2010 Raptors. I would not pay much attention to it as normal black luxury leather will be the norm and those seats regulated to sport packages.

I really like the new trucks 37" package and the new 5 link rear end. The styling is good but not great, my Gen2 has grown on me but I will still always love the Gen1 styling the best. I will be ready for a new truck in about 2 years and will not hesitate to buy the Gen3.

The ***** stamp tailgate is horrendous:

Is it me or is it more boxy than the previous gens? It looks like the fenders are not near as flared as they are on the previous Raptors. Could be the angle but the front looks weird and more squared too. So maybe to keep the proportions of it in line with the F150? or in order to tuck those larger tires in it.

Yea, it looks more boxy. But the small FORD lettering looks horrible. They need to keep it like the Gen 2. I don’t know why Ford doesn’t give us an option like the first year 17s that had no appliqué and no F150 stamped into the tailgate.

I imagine in the design process the flared fenders probably did not look right on the new gen body panels. Just a guess, I plan to stick with my Gen 2 right now. I almost bought a Power Wagon but my common sense kicked in and kept me from it. LOL
