Whatever they put in it, it has to beat the TRX, they played Enter Sandman on the teaser.

No question about it.Whatever they put in it, it has to beat the TRX, they played Enter Sandman on the teaser.
And Ford said Mr. Sandman is outdated. Hint?
All I know is it costs alot of money to play in the sandbox these days.
Where did Ford say this.
Well, let’s all hope that Ford delivers tomorrow! We need a truck that blows the TRX out of the water.@Mike levin on Twitter from Ford remarked about it the other day. Just as he said the Raptor weighs a bit less than a TRX etc etc.

Since it is pretty much confirmed that the 3.5 TT will be back, do you think Ford has tweaked it at all? Added more HP and Torque?
Yeah, I believe there is no option that does not include the 5.2 Predator. It will be a fail without it. Ford has to answer the bell here.If it’s the 3.5TT H.O. For sure it will have more power. Just how much I can only attempt to guess. If it’s a powerboost version, then hold on. It could be very interesting. 5.2? Well we know what that means.

I don’t think we will see a powerboost option on the Raptor. I think they will up the power slightly on the V6 TT. They pulled 660 HP out of it on the GT, so who knows.
The base model should have no less than 500 HP though.
I am not saying I will not be satisfied with a 650-700 HP hybrid set up, but 430 HP is simply not good enough. I think that is why a lot of people are calling for the 5.2.Why? Ford has been pushing electric/hybrid systems. MachE, Nav, all electric F150 etc etc. You don't move forward by looking into the past. As I said, putting the v8 in, even in limited numbers fractures the lineup, and also is weak sauce. Thats what FIAT did and its a fat, heavy pig. Ford goes Hybrid in the Raptor and it's revolutionary and history will remember that.
