All i hread was we got good news and bad news what do you want to here first ?!

At the beginning of fall i noticed some pitting on my rockers . I was under the rig checking out the pitting on the rear foxes and swearing like most of you have done . So seeing the the rockers condition i put it on the to do list in a few months .I wanted to do a few other things first to the truck . So today was the rocker to do day . Brought into my friend at the SVT Dealer (Body Shop Manager) Did a fast visual for you brother and some CROWN ROYAL . Sand it treat it paint and gravil guard if i wish? $200 out the door . So it was go time , left her there .

5 hrs later get a call ..brother got some good news and some bad news ! What do you want first ? I said bad news !! Well my sanded her down and then found perforation holes both sides. She's rotted both sides !! My heart dropped , then he said the good news is i took pictures and sent them in to FORD . You are covered under your extended warranty for body perforation . I asked what this would cost out of pocket ..He said labor parts ..$4,000 to $5,000 . So get a rental also but question i like to ask boys does my box have to come off for this ? He said he was sure it did . So not activate everyone's OCD to full power . Check your rockers ..You never know ?! Also the previous owner had a electric pulse anti rust things in it . So much for that !!

Just a little update on progress of the rig to date . I was busy for a few weeks and could not get it into the dealer . Then they were booked for a week or so . Now things are rolling and the tech on it does his stuff right and takes his time . I was surprised with the fenders and box off . Would ya look at the F%cking rust boy's . Tech said bad design new design has drainage holes ..
