Alarm going off randomly

My 2014 alarm keeps going off randomly. Any ideas where to start? Atm leaving the truck unlocked

most likely a door lock actuator. has a door open sensor built in. ford was notorious for having them go bad. probably the first place to start

Bumping this as I searched for my issue and came across this. Maybe the OP found his issues.

2020...alarm has been going off here and there...maybe 10 times in the last month. Usually I can clear it with the remote(new battery). Just not it went off and would not turn off with either remote. I went downstairs and opened the passenger door and would not stop. Opened the Drivers side door and it stopped. So I'm leaning towards that door. I have yet to check the fuse but i also run Lithium battery bank in the bed for my stereo. It's about time I rebuilt that and checked all the cells. I'm sure my neighbors love me.

I wonder if you can use Forscan to turn the door open sensor off. I turned off multiple things using Forscan so I'd imagine you can.

On newer truck if you have had problems on the regular try turning off perimeter alarm. I would get small bugs setting mine off. Most of the time slightly cracked window or open sunroof let them in. Best of luck
